Resistance standards are segmented by application: the 0 Ω through 100 Ω standards employ thin-film resistors with minimal residual resistance and stray capacitance, while the 100 Ω through 10 kΩ standards are shielded to suppress noise coupling. Standards from 0 Ω to 100 Ω are optimized for phase measurement calibration with minimal residual reactance. Higher-value standards (1 kΩ, 10 kΩ, 100 kΩ) are calibrated for resistance measurement with ±0.1% accuracy. Quasi-inductance standards (100 μH and 100 mH) are constructed using two resistors and one capacitor to synthesize equivalent inductance. Users must measure equivalent inductance values before operation to confirm LCR meter inductance measurement functionality.
