The HP/Agilent 54721A is a 1.1 GHz amplifier plug-in module for the HP 54720D digitizing oscilloscope mainframe. This single-channel vertical amplifier extends measurement bandwidth to 1.1 GHz, enabling precise capture and analysis of high-frequency signals with a maximum sample rate of 4 GSa/s. The module delivers 10 mV/div maximum sensitivity with software expansion to 1 mV/div, supporting single-shot measurements up to 1 GHz and internal/external triggering up to 1 GHz. The 54721A occupies two mainframe slots and provides 32K memory depth on 'A' model mainframes or 128K on 'D' model mainframes.
