Agilent/Keysight J4233A

The Agilent/Keysight J4233A is a C-size, double-slot VXI module functioning as a DWDM transmitter for optical telecommunications testing. It has four optical output ports, each emitting 1310 nm laser light, and generates PRBS patterns across four standardized data rates from 155.52 Mb/s to 2.488320 Gb/s. The module supports both framed and unframed signal structures, including STM-1/4c/16c and OC-3c/12c/48c formats.

Error injection capability - selectable B1, B2, or bit errors at rates from single to 1 × 10⁻⁹ - enables rapid characterization of optical link performance and fault tolerance. Maximum output power reaches +2 dBm per port.
