Anritsu MP1800A – BERT Signal Quality Analyzer Mainframe

The Anritsu MP1800A is a modular, plug-in Bit Error Rate Tester (BERT) designed for signal integrity analysis across digital communication systems. It combines a Pulse Pattern Generator (PPG) for high-quality signal output with an Error Detector (ED) offering high input sensitivity. The system performs burst pattern, Bathtub Jitter, and Eye Diagram measurements, supporting bit rates from 0.1 Gbit/s to 32.1 Gbit/s, with configurations extending to 56 Gbit/s via multiplexer modules and up to 100 Gbit/s from a single chassis.

Multi-channel synchronization supports up to 8 channels in the 32 Gbit/s band, with configurable slot arrangements for serial and parallel applications. The platform integrates jitter generation and analysis, PAM signal support, and pre-emphasis capabilities, making it suitable for validating high-speed backplanes, 400 GbE interfaces, and advanced interconnect technologies.
