The Amplifier Research 200L is a self-contained, air-cooled, solid-state RF amplifier engineered for laboratory and test environments requiring broadband coverage from 1 MHz to 200 MHz. It delivers 200 W of continuous-wave power and 400 W pulsed output with over 500 W peak pulse capability. The amplifier accepts 1 mW input for rated output, provides 53 dB gain, and maintains ±1.5 dB flatness across its instantaneous bandwidth.
It reproduces AM, FM, and pulse modulation faithfully and operates into any load impedance without shutdown or damage - a critical advantage in field testing and measurement scenarios.
