The JDSU FBP-P5 is a video inspection probe microscope engineered for fiber optic connector end-face analysis. It delivers real-time NTSC video output to compatible displays, enabling technicians to detect contaminants, scratches, and defects that degrade optical performance. The probe features dual selectable magnification (200x and 400x), coaxial blue LED illumination with 100,000+ hour lifespan, and adjustable focus.

A 1/3-inch CMOS camera and 4-pin Hirose™ connector provide straightforward integration with handheld displays, Viavi test platforms, or PC systems via analog-to-digital conversion. Compact dimensions (46 x 43 x 140 mm) and 180 g weight enable one-handed field operation.
