The SMS16A is an articulating microscope arm engineered for stable, flexible positioning during precision inspection tasks in laboratory and production environments. This arm component - supplied without stand - delivers repeatable support for large-sample inspection where continuous horizontal microscope travel is not required. Built from anti-corrosion materials including stainless steel, anodized aluminum, plated steel, and catalyzed epoxy, the SMS16A features precision ground 38 mm (1.47 inch) diameter shafting that slides on nylon bearing surfaces.

Soft-grip knobs secure the arm position through a solid aluminum cross slider, enabling deliberate repositioning without drift.
