Advantest R5362A Frequency counter

The Advantest R5362A is a precision frequency counter engineered for accurate frequency and time interval measurements across wide ranges. Dual-channel architecture supports low-frequency measurements from 0.2 mHz to 100 MHz (Input B) and RF measurements spanning 60 MHz to 3 GHz (Input A), with selectable low-pass filtering for noise rejection. A 9-digit display delivers high-resolution readouts with sampling at approximately 80 ms intervals.

The instrument combines a thermostatically controlled crystal oscillator for timing stability with flexible triggering from -1.2 V to +1.2 V and integrated burst-wave measurement capability. Time interval analysis spans 200 ns to 9000 s with display resolution down to picoseconds. Measurement accuracy incorporates trigger error, 1-count quantization, and reference time stability components.
