The APC Back-UPS BE550G is a passive standby uninterruptible power supply rated at 550 VA / 330 W, designed to protect connected equipment from power disturbances through battery backup and surge suppression. The unit features eight NEMA 5-15R outlets: four outlets provide both battery backup and surge protection, while four outlets deliver surge protection only. A maintenance-free, sealed lead-acid battery delivers 3.30 minutes of runtime at full load and 13.50 minutes at half load, with typical recharge time of one day.
The battery is user-replaceable (RBC110 cartridge) and backed by intelligent management with automatic failure and disconnect notifications.
