The HP PSR150-A is an internal AC power supply unit delivering 150 W of stable DC power to HP A5500/A5800 series switches and SC 5520 Series equipment. This hot-swappable PSU accepts 100-240 V AC input at 50-60 Hz and outputs +12 V DC at 12.5 A, enabling seamless field replacement without system shutdown. Four independent protection mechanisms - over-voltage, short-circuit, current-limiting, and overheat - safeguard connected systems. The unit supports parallel connection for 1+1 redundancy and load sharing across multiple supplies.

Installation & Operation The PSR150-A mounts internally via guide rails and captive screws. The integrated fan automatically adjusts speed in response to operational load and ambient temperature. The supply activates immediately upon connection to AC mains and handles most fault conditions through automatic recovery - except when a deadly lock event necessitates manual power cycling.
