Intel Plug-and-Play support (82341D)

Hardware EOI line detection

Typical Applications Automated test environments, instrument control networks, laboratory data acquisition systems, and industrial measurement configurations requiring parallel multi-device communication.

Compatibility & Integration The E2071D/82341D interfaces with 82341C, 85123A, 89075C, E2910A, E4840A, E4849A, E8431A, G2030A, and Z5200FB instruments. Agilent 82341 boards may require firmware upload via gpib_config with the "--init-data" option following power-up. The 82341 detects end-of-string through EOI line assertion only; REOS flag usage during reads may reduce maximum transfer rates. DIP switch configuration for I/O address and interrupt assignment may be necessary depending on operating system and system configuration. MS ChemStation G1701BA version B.02.00 (Windows NT 4.0 SP6a) provides the most recent full HP-IB compatibility.

Keysight / Agilent / HP E2071D / 82341D — Repair & Calibration Service

Aumictech offers NIST-traceable calibration and repair for the Keysight / Agilent / HP E2071D / 82341D. Calibration covers analog input channel accuracy and offset at all gain settings, analog output accuracy, digital I/O logic threshold verification, sample rate and timing accuracy, and trigger and synchronization bus functional verification. NI CompactRIO and PXI chassis also undergo backplane trigger line integrity check.. All calibrations ship with a NIST-traceable certificate. Turnaround is typically 1–3 business days after receipt.

Common Keysight / Agilent / HP E2071D / 82341D faults: power supply failure (cRIO-9073/9074), C-series slot connector wear, PXI chassis fan failure, GPIB interface failure on VXI controllers, BIOS/EEPROM corruption. NI CompactRIO most common faults are power supply failure on older cRIO-9073/9074 chassis and C-series module slot connector wear from repeated hot-swap cycles. PXI chassis fan failure is the most common wear item — chassis fans are field-replaceable. VXI embedded controllers most commonly develop EEPROM corruption and GPIB interface failure.
