This unit
The GE / Bently Nevada 3300 Analog Six-Channel Temperature Monitor provides continuous temperature surveillance across six independent channels for critical industrial machinery. Available as the 3300/30 TC Monitor for thermocouple inputs or the 3300/35 RTD Monitor for resistance temperature detectors, this unit delivers display accuracy within ±1°C (1.8°F) at +25°C ambient. Each channel features digitally adjustable alarm setpoints from 0 to +500°C (0 to +1000°F), repeatable within ±1°C once configured. The monitor enables early detection of temperature-related equipment degradation, reducing unplanned downtime and preventing failure in demanding industrial environments.
Technical Specifications The 3300/30 TC Monitor accepts thermocouple signals (grounded or non-grounded tip) with user-programmable types including Type J, K, T, and E, each rated to 250–500°C (500–1000°F). The 3300/35 RTD Monitor accommodates 3-wire and 4-wire Resistance Temperature Detectors: 100 Ω platinum (α = 0.00385 or 0.00392) to 500°C / 1000°F, 120 Ω nickel to 150°C / 300°F, and 10 Ω copper to 100°C / 200°F. RTD sensor changes between platinum/nickel and copper require monitor recalibration via field-changeable plug-in jumpers. Input signal range is 0 to -10 Vdc with 100 Ω input impedance. Transducer power supply operates at -24 Vdc or -18 Vdc (configurable). Power consumption is nominal 4 watts, with peak consumption of 7.7 watts. Display resolution is user-programmable to 0.1 or 1°C.
Key Features
Six independent input channels per monitor
Display accuracy within ±1°C (1.8°F) maximum with tenths digit displayed; ±1.5°C (2.7°F) without tenths
Alarm setpoint repeatability within ±1°C once programmed
Recorder output accuracy: ±1.8% of signal ±0.09 mA offset (4–20 mA); ±2.2% of signal ±10 mV offset (1–5 Vdc); ±2.2% of signal ±15 mV offset (0 to -10 Vdc)
2-wire detectors connectable to 3- or 4-wire input modules with proper wiring
Typical Applications Motor and generator temperature monitoring, bearing and lubrication circuit surveillance, steam turbine protection, and process fluid temperature control in petrochemical, power generation, and manufacturing environments.
Compatibility & Integration The modular 3300 series design allows thermocouple and RTD monitors to operate independently or integrated within larger machinery protection systems requiring multi-point temperature data logging and alarm annunciation.
