Agilent/Keysight 34171B

The Agilent/Keysight 34171B is an input terminal block accessory that provides reliable connections to compatible digital multimeter (DMM) input terminals. The kit consists of two connector blocks, each with five shrouded banana plug terminals, engineered to simplify wiring while maintaining measurement integrity across voltage, current, and resistance measurement modes. Low-thermal copper alloy terminals minimize thermally-induced voltages that arise from dissimilar metal junctions.

For optimal performance, unplated copper wire of 18 gauge or smaller should be used throughout all connections. The terminal block design accommodates standard T-15 Torx fasteners for installation and includes strain relief provisions via cable tie attachment to the base. The cover must remain installed during operation to prevent electrical shock hazard.
