This unit
The GE / Bently Nevada 3500/15 is an AC/DC power supply module for the 3500 Series Machinery Protection System. This half-height module delivers regulated DC power to all rack components, operating as either primary or redundant supply in designated left-side slots. The system supports single or dual module configurations with hot-swap capability when redundancy is enabled, and accommodates multiple input voltage standards including legacy high/low voltage AC, universal voltage AC (47–63 Hz), and high/low voltage DC options.
Technical Specifications Electrical Inputs:
Legacy High Voltage AC: 175 to 264 Vac rms (247 to 373 Vac peak); nominal 220 Vac
Legacy Low Voltage AC: 85 to 132 Vac rms (120 to 188 Vac peak); nominal 110 Vac
Universal Voltage AC: 85 to 264 Vac rms (120 to 373 Vac peak); 47 to 63 Hz
High Voltage DC: 88 to 140 Vdc
Low Voltage DC: 20 to 30 Vdc Maximum Full Rack Current Draw:
175–264 Vac input: 2.3 A rms
85–132 Vac input: 4.5 A rms
88–140 Vdc input: 2.5 A
20–30 Vdc input: 10.0 A Environmental:
Operating Temperature: −30 °C to +65 °C
Storage Temperature: −40 °C to +85 °C
Humidity: 95% non-condensing
Key Features
Dual-module redundancy support; lower slot hosts primary, upper slot hosts backup
Hot insertion/removal without interrupting rack operation when second supply is present
Over-voltage protection via PIM fuse; under-voltage conditions do not damage supply or PIM
Made in USA
Typical Applications Machinery protection and condition monitoring systems requiring continuous DC power to transducers, signal processors, and control modules in industrial environments with variable supply voltages.
Compatibility & Integration Designed for 3500 Series racks with compatibility dependent on Power Input Module (PIM) revision. Legacy AC configurations (Rev. R and earlier PIMs, Rev. M and earlier Power Supply Modules) operate within 175–250 Vac rms (high voltage) or 85–125 Vac rms (low voltage). Universal voltage modules are not backward-compatible with legacy AC components.
