The TTC Fireberd 6000A Communications Analyzer with Option 6010 is a modular test platform for protocol and network interface validation across physical and data link layers. It delivers bit error rate testing, frame and cell generation, signal performance analysis, and jitter measurement on T1, 2M, and 64 kb/s circuits. The instrument supports ATM, Frame Relay, ISDN, T-Carrier, E-Carrier, DDS, and analog transmission testing with in-service monitoring and loopback capabilities.

A frequency synthesizer generates clock signals from 50 Hz to 15 MHz, accommodating both standard and non-standard rates. The menu-driven interface enables automated and remote operation with programmable user patterns, custom flow control, and storage for ten test configurations. Over 20 interchangeable interface modules adapt the analyzer to diverse applications from drop-and-insert testing to high-speed TTL interfaces, with built-in RS-232 DTE/DCE emulation.
