Agilent/Keysight 6255A DC Power Supply

The Agilent/Keysight 6255A is a dual-output DC power supply engineered for laboratory and design environments requiring stable, independently adjustable power delivery. Each output operates from 0 to 40 V at 0 to 1.5 A, with a combined 60 W rating per supply. The unit supports auto-series, auto-parallel, and auto-tracking configurations, enabling flexible output combinations for higher voltage or current requirements without additional hardware.

Output stability is assured through exceptional ripple and noise performance: less than 200 µV rms in constant voltage mode and less than 500 µA rms in constant current mode (20 Hz to 20 MHz bandwidth). Load regulation holds to better than 0.01% + 2 mV in CV mode and 0.01% + 250 µA in CC mode. Line regulation remains within 0.01% + 2 mV (CV) and 0.01% + 250 µA (CC) across the full input voltage range.

Over an 8-hour period following 30-minute warm-up, drift stays below 0.10% + 2.5 mV in CV mode and 0.10% + 4 mA in CC mode. Temperature coefficient is 0.02% + 500 µV per °C (CV) and 0.02% + 0.8 mA per °C (CC). Internal impedance in constant voltage operation ranges from less than 0.001 ohm at DC to 100 Hz, increasing to 0.01 ohm at 100 Hz to 1 kHz, and 0.2 ohm at 1 kHz to 100 kHz.

The unit accepts 105–125 VAC or 210–250 VAC input (selectable) at 50–400 Hz single-phase operation.
