The Keithley 7053 High Current Scanner Card is a 10-channel switching module engineered for automated testing within Keithley switching mainframes. It routes and switches high current signals up to 5A at 300V peak, delivering reliable performance across component testing, power supply evaluation, solar cell characterization, and IC validation. The card features 2-pole Form A contacts with common Guard and Z-pole Form C relays, offering contact resistance of 0.15Ω maximum and contact potential below 1mV. Unselected inputs can be shorted via user-removable jumpers or left open for high-impedance voltage measurements. With channel isolation exceeding 10⁹Ω and differential input isolation above 10⁷Ω, the 7053 maintains signal integrity in demanding industrial and laboratory environments. Actuation time is less than 15ms, and relay contact life reaches 10⁷ closures under cold switching conditions or 10⁵ closures at maximum signal level.
