This unit

The Keithley 7753 High Voltage Source Switch Module is a specialized instrument module engineered for integration into the Keithley Model 2790 SourceMeter Switch System. It delivers programmable DC voltage sourcing from 50V to 500V with 100mV resolution and current sourcing from 0 to 50mA, paired with multichannel relay switching for precision high-voltage test applications. The module incorporates a built-in I/V converter for insulation resistance measurements, latching electromechanical relays with sub-3ms actuation, and a four-bank switching matrix configured to accommodate single or dual inflator units.

Hardware interlocks, low-energy sources, and programmable shunts provide essential safety redundancy in high-risk test environments.

Technical Specifications

  • Voltage Source: 50V to 500V programmable range, 100mV resolution; 0.5% + 0.13V accuracy (2-year specification)

  • Current Source: 0–50mA programmable; 0.5% (of reading) + 60nA accuracy; <1mV voltage burden

  • Current Measurement Input Range: 0–500µA
