Corning InfiniCor 600 Multimode Bare Optical Fiber
InfiniCor 600 is the 600 MHz·km bandwidth grade in the Corning 62.5/125 µm InfiniCor family, offering higher bandwidth than the InfiniCor 300 in the same core/cladding geometry.
- Standard
- IEC A1-OM1 (62.5/125 µm)
- OFL BW @ 850 nm
- 600 MHz·km
InfiniCor 600 was used in installations where the higher bandwidth margin was specified for future proofing within the 62.5/125 µm infrastructure. It shares the same 62.5/125 µm geometry and orange-jacket identification as the rest of the OM1 family, with 600 MHz·km OFL bandwidth at 850 nm rather than the 160 MHz·km of InfiniCor 300.
Like all 62.5/125 µm fiber, InfiniCor 600 is a legacy product not suited for new builds. We supply it for matching installed plant. Confirm the specific fiber code or grade on your existing plant documentation and we will match it.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between InfiniCor 300 and InfiniCor 600?
The bandwidth. InfiniCor 600 has 600 MHz·km OFL bandwidth at 850 nm versus 160 MHz·km for InfiniCor 300. The higher bandwidth translates to slightly longer reach at a given data rate, but neither product is suitable for 10G at normal campus distances. The core/cladding geometry (62.5/125 µm) and general compatibility with OM1 equipment are the same on both.
