InfiniCor is the 50/125 µm multimode product family that preceded and runs alongside the ClearCurve line. InfiniCor eSX+ covers OM3 and OM4 performance classes; SX+ and SXi are earlier generations that remain specified and installed in significant quantities.

InfiniCor eSX+ meets the laser bandwidth requirements of IEC A1-OM3 and A1-OM4 depending on the specific product grade. It was the standard Corning 50/125 multimode product for data center and enterprise cabling before the ClearCurve design was introduced. Optically it performs to the same IEEE 802.3 link length specifications as ClearCurve OM3/OM4 at 850 nm.
For new builds, ClearCurve OM4 or OM5 is the better choice due to the improved macrobend performance. For systems already running on InfiniCor or for extensions of installed plant where matching the fiber type improves splice consistency, we supply InfiniCor by specific grade. Yes. Both are 50/125 µm fibers with a 50 µm core and 125 µm cladding. The mode field characteristics at 850 nm are compatible. A fusion splice between InfiniCor eSX+ and ClearCurve OM4 typically produces 0.1-0.2 dB attenuation, which is within normal splice loss budgets for data center links.
