The D-LINK DES-3624I is a 20-port managed Fast Ethernet switch delivering 10/100Mbps auto-negotiation across all ports with full and half-duplex support. Built for small to medium business networks, it combines wire-speed switching with enterprise-class management capabilities. The platform supports IEEE 802.3 and 802.3u standards, processing up to 148,800 packets per second per 100BASE-TX port with a 12K MAC address filtering table. VLAN segmentation and QoS prioritization enable traffic isolation and policy-based forwarding. Stackable architecture allows up to four units to operate as a single logical switch, with 3 modular expansion slots supporting optional 100BASE-FX fiber ports or 1000BASE-SX Gigabit modules.
