This unit

The Agilent/Keysight DSO1004A is a 60 MHz, 4-channel digital storage oscilloscope engineered for general-purpose electronic testing and measurement across R&D, education, and manufacturing environments. This compact instrument delivers up to 2 GSa/s sampling rate with 20 kpts acquisition memory and a 5.7-inch QVGA color LCD display. The DSO1004A captures and analyzes complex signals through multiple triggering modes - edge, pulse width, video, pattern, and alternate - each with adjustable sensitivity for noise filtering.

Its math engine supports add, subtract, multiply, and FFT operations, while 23 automatic measurements plus cursor analysis enable rapid signal characterization. A built-in 6-digit frequency counter, Go/No-Go mask testing, and sequence mode (1000 trigger events) extend measurement capability. Dual USB host ports enable data archiving to flash drives and firmware updates; a USB device port supports remote control and PictBridge printer connectivity.

Internal storage accommodates 10 waveforms and 10 setups. Specifications include 5.8 ns rise time, 1 MΩ ±1% input impedance (18 pF ±3 pF), and CAT I 300 Vrms/400 Vpk maximum input. The instrument operates from 100–240 V at 0–40 °C and weighs under 7 pounds.
