This unit

The Keysight/Agilent/HP E3243A Microphone/Voltage Breakout Box is a four-channel signal conditioning accessory that interfaces microphones, voltage signals, and IEPE transducers with the E1432A and E1433A VXI modules. The unit consolidates multiple transducer input types - including 7-pin LEMO connectors for microphones and female BNC connectors for voltage and IEPE sources - into a single interface, eliminating the need for separate conditioning equipment. Each channel incorporates programmable signal conditioning with selectable microphone gain, polarization voltage control (0 V or 200 V DC), and switchable 4 mA constant current supply for IEPE accelerometers. Buffered monitor outputs on each channel deliver up to 5 V peak with 1 kΩ output impedance, enabling real-time signal observation. The E3243A connects to the VXI module via a 2-meter cable terminated with Amp connectors, with an optional 20-meter extension available.
