Agilent / Keysight E4356A Telecom DC Power Supply, 70V, 30A and 80V, 26A
The Agilent/Keysight E4356A is a telecom DC power supply providing 70V at 30A and 80V at 26A. Designed for telecom applications, it offers reliable and stable DC power for testing and development.
The Keysight E4356A is a 2100 W telecom DC power supply delivering dual-range output with automatic switching between 0–70 V at 30 A and 0–80 V at 26 A. Built for telecommunications equipment testing, it combines low-noise performance - less than 2 mV rms across the output spectrum - with integrated measurement capabilities that eliminate the need for external voltmeters and current shunts. The unit sources and sinks current, enabling faster voltage transitions on capacitive loads without programming cycle limitations.
Output noise measures 16 mV peak-to-peak in constant voltage mode and 25 mA rms in constant current mode. Programming accuracy reaches 0.04% + 80 mV for voltage and 0.1% + 25 mA for current. Load and line regulation hold at 0.002% + 3 mV for voltage and 0.005% + 2 mA for current, ensuring stable operation across input variations and load changes.
Full-load programming speed covers 200 ms rise time and 475 ms fall time, with transient recovery under 900 µs to within 0.1% of rated voltage or 20 mV. The E4356A integrates GPIB control with SCPI command language, analog remote control ports, and five nonvolatile memory locations for test configuration storage. Overvoltage, overcurrent, and overtemperature protection safeguard equipment during testing.
Maximum programmable limits reach 81.9 V and 30.71 A, with OVP clamping at 96 V. No-load discharge completes in 650 ms. Serial linking allows up to 16 units on a single GPIB address with 30 m maximum cable length, scaling test infrastructure for multi-unit applications.
