The Anritsu ML428B is a precision interference and field strength meter engineered for EMI characterization and RF field measurements across the 9 kHz to 30 MHz band. Purpose-built for EMC testing environments, it delivers direct digital field strength readout and multi-standard compliance (CISPR, VDE, FCC) through selectable Average, Quasi-Peak, and Peak detectors with frequency-dependent time constants. The instrument combines a synthesized local oscillator with auto-ranging capability, eliminating manual attenuator adjustment and streamlining signal-level characterization across demanding test protocols.
