The Emerson/Motorola MVME172PA-652SE is a VMEbus embedded controller purpose-built for demanding industrial control and real-time processing applications. It combines a Motorola MC68060 or MC68LC060 superscalar processor with configurable SDRAM, battery-backed SRAM, and dual IndustryPack slots to deliver flexible I/O expansion. The architecture maintains MC68000 object code compatibility while offering 60 MHz or 64 MHz clock speeds and Petra ASIC memory subsystem enhancement.
