This unit
The Agilent/Keysight N1076B is a precision electrical clock recovery module that extracts timing information from high-speed data streams spanning 125 MBd to 64 GBd. It supports both NRZ and PAM4 signal types with standards-compliant Golden PLL architecture, adjustable peaking, and loop bandwidth up to 20 MHz. The module delivers ultra-low residual random jitter below 100 fs RMS and achieves lock on signals as low as 30 mV pp (rates ≤53.125 GBd) or 60 mV pp (rates >53.125 GBd).
Single-ended and differential data inputs connect to oscilloscope clock/trigger inputs. The optional Jitter Spectrum Analysis (JSA) capability isolates root causes and distributions of low-frequency jitter. For degraded or closed-eye signals, the integrated Variable Equalizer (Option EVA) recovers locking capability on electrical inputs.
