The Rohde & Schwarz NRV-Z53 is a high-precision thermal power sensor that delivers absolute average power measurements across RF and microwave signals from DC to 18 GHz. Built on thermocouple technology, this sensor measures power independent of waveform - making it ideal for modulated and spread spectrum signals where traditional peak-detection methods fail. The 50 Ω N-type connector and integral 20 dB attenuator extend measurement capability from 100 µW to 10 W, while an integrated 1 m interconnection lead connects directly to compatible power meter base units.
