This unit

The ILX Lightwave OMH-6780B is a silicon-based power and wavelength measurement head designed for integration with the OMM-6810B Optical Power and Wavelength Meter. It delivers simultaneous optical power and wavelength measurement across the 830 nm to 1100 nm spectral band, making it ideal for characterizing pump laser diodes and other optical sources. The wavehead employs integrating sphere technology to ensure measurement accuracy independent of beam profile, detector saturation, alignment, and back reflection.

Temperature-controlled detectors maintain repeatable performance across ambient conditions while maximizing signal-to-noise ratio. A fiber exit port enables direct connection to an Optical Spectrum Analyzer (OSA) for extended spectral analysis. Wavelength accuracy of ±0.2 nm and power measurement accuracy of ±5.0% are maintained through NIST-traceable calibration performed in ILX's laboratory.

The compact 69 mm diameter × 28 mm height form factor accommodates diverse optical test benches.
