This unit

The Rohde & Schwarz RTE1024 is a 200 MHz, 4-channel digital oscilloscope engineered for advanced signal analysis, debugging, and measurement across industrial, communications, and electronic development applications. With 5 GSa/s sampling, up to 200 Msample memory depth, and HD Mode vertical resolution reaching 16 bits, the RTE1024 delivers precise capture and analysis of complex waveforms. The instrument combines a high-speed digital trigger system with sub-picosecond jitter, 77 automatic measurements, and an intelligent 10.4" touchscreen interface for rapid troubleshooting and protocol validation.

Technical Specifications

  • Bandwidth: 200 MHz

  • Channels: 4 analog channels (expandable to 20 with digital option)

  • Maximum Sample Rate: 5 GSa/s

  • Memory Depth: 200 Msample standard; up to 50 Msample per channel with optional expansion

  • Vertical Resolution (HD Mode): 16 bits (10 kHz–30 MHz), 14 bits (50 MHz), 13 bits (100 MHz), 12 bits (200 MHz)

  • Input Sensitivity: 500 µV/div minimum with full bandwidth

  • Inherent Noise: 100 µV at 1 mV/div, 1 GHz bandwidth

  • Acquisition Rate: >1,000,000 waveforms/s

  • Trigger Jitter: <1 ps

  • Rise/Fall Time (10%–90%): <1.75 ns at 50 Ω

  • Input Impedance: 50 Ω ± 1.5% || 16 pF ± 1 pF or 1 MΩ ± 1% || 16 pF ± 1 pF

Key Features

  • HD Mode: Digital filtering reduces noise while enhancing vertical resolution across the bandwidth

  • Automatic Measurements: 77 functions including amplitude, time interval, histogram, eye diagram, and spectral analysis; up to 8 simultaneous measurements

  • Digital Trigger System: Analyzes digitized signals directly, independent of sample rate, for low jitter and high sensitivity
