The Spirent Netcom SMB200 Smartbits 200 is a portable network testing platform that delivers traffic generation and analysis for comprehensive device and protocol validation. This modular system accommodates up to four SmartCards, supporting 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet, ATM, and Frame Relay technologies. The included pair of GX1405B Gigabit Ethernet SmartCards provides 1000Base-SX fiber interfaces for full-duplex operations with advanced packet generation, capture, and monitoring capabilities.


Engineers deploy the SMB200 on-site to execute industry-standard RFC-compliant performance tests, isolate network bottlenecks, and measure one-way latency and jitter with 100-ns timestamp accuracy.
