This unit
The Keysight U9361F RCal receiver calibrator is a palm-sized module that extends measurement accuracy by relocating the reference plane to the device under test output. It corrects systematic errors including signal path losses and frequency response across 10 MHz to 50 GHz, enabling precise characterization of transmitters and transfer of absolute power accuracy. The U9361F generates IF flatness corrections for both magnitude and phase using tunable BPSK comb modulation, improving receiver test system accuracy by an order of magnitude.
The module operates via USB 3.0 interface with ±10 ppm initial calibration accuracy and <±1 ppm/year aging rate. Factory-calibrated with connector-specific standards, it delivers ultra-stable, repeatable corrections for complex magnitude and phase response. Integration with X-Series Signal Analyzers (N9020B, N9021B, N9030B, N9032B, N9040B, N9041B, N9042B) requires software revision A.27.05 or higher, with A.29.01 or higher recommended, plus the U9361Y_RCL license.
