Abaco Systems V7768-111001 Intel Celeron M VME Single Board Computer

The Abaco Systems V7768-111001 is a VME 6U single board computer delivering flexible processing for demanding embedded applications. Built on the Intel 945GME Express Chipset, it integrates an Intel Celeron M processor with extended temperature capability and supports up to 2 GB DDR2 SDRAM. The board features a transparent PCI-to-VME bridge via the Tundra Universe II Bus Interface Chip, enabling operation as system controller or peripheral CPU in multi-CPU VME systems.

It combines proven VMEbus Specification VITA 1-1994 compliance with modern I/O: dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, two SATA interfaces, and four USB 2.0 ports. Storage options include up to 8 GB bootable CompactFlash accessible through the secondary IDE port. The board supports four user-programmable timers - two 16-bit and two 32-bit - with selectable clock rates of 2 MHz, 1 MHz, 500 kHz, and 250 kHz, capable of generating system interrupts on timeout.

One PCI-X capable PMC site employs the EasyRail mounting system for simplified mezzanine expansion and maintenance access. System and Video BIOS are provided in reprogrammable flash memory. The V7768 runs Windows XP, VxWorks, and Linux, with software compatibility for VME64 platform upgrades.

Dual-slot form factor supports rear I/O connectivity via compatible ACC-0602RC and ACC-0603RC Rear Transition Modules. RoHS and WEEE compliant.
