Very good condition. Came from a working station due to upgrade.

This listing includes two VXI Technology VMIP modules: the VM2616 16-channel digitizer and the VM1548 48-channel TTL I/O module. Both are C-size VXI instruments from VXI Technology's VMIP platform, later supported under VTI Instruments and Ametek. Both require a VM9000 carrier to install in a VXI mainframe, which accepts up to three VMIP modules per single C-size slot. VM2616 Key Specs Function: 16-channel 16-bit digitizer / A/D converter Channels: 16 independent, each with its own ADC Resolution: 16-bit per channel Sample Rate: Up to 100kSa/s per channel Input Type: Differential Input Coupling: DC Input Ranges: ±0.1V to ±40V Reference Oscillator: 1MHz Memory: 512kB (Option 2 upgrade) Triggering: Flexible, software and hardware trigger modes Form Factor: VMIP module, C-size VXI via VM9000 carrier Interface: VXIbus, VXIplug&play drivers, SCPI compatible Each of the 16 channels on the VM2616 has its own dedicated instrumentation amplifier and independent ADC. No multiplexing, no shared converter across channels. That means all 16 channels can sample simultaneously without timing skew between them, which matters in multi-channel signal acquisition where phase relationships between channels are part of what you are measuring. The ±0.1V to ±40V input range covers everything from low-level sensor signals to high-voltage monitoring without external attenuation on most setups. VM1548 Key Specs Function: 48-channel TTL digital I/O Channel Groups: Six groups of 8 I/O bits each Total Channels: 48 per module, up to 144 per single VXI C-size slot (three modules in one VM9000) Output Type: Open-collector Output Voltage: Up to 60V Output Current: Up to 300mA per channel Data Access: Message-based or register-based Data Formats: ASCII, Hex, Octal, Binary Triggering: Flexible triggering and handshaking Form Factor: VMIP module, C-size VXI via VM9000 carrier Interface: VXIbus, VXIplug&play drivers, SCPI compatible The VM1548 handles digital stimulus and control in ATE builds. Open-collector outputs to 60V and 300mA per channel make it practical for driving relays, solenoids, indicator lights, and external switching hardware directly without additional driver circuitry in many setups. Six independently configurable 8-bit groups let you mix input and output directions within the same module depending on what your test application needs. Together the VM2616 and VM1548 cover analog acquisition and digital I/O in a compact VMIP configuration. Paired in a single VM9000 carrier with a third VMIP slot still open, they leave room to add a DMM, waveform generator, or counter module and run a fairly complete mixed-signal test capability from one C-size VXI slot. Both modules were tested at our Downingtown, PA facility before listing. ADC conversion and channel sampling were verified on the VM2616. Digital I/O channel operation was confirmed on the VM1548. Do these modules require a VM9000 carrier? Yes. VMIP modules do not install directly into a VXI mainframe slot. They mount into a VM9000 carrier, which then occupies one C-size VXI slot. The VM9000 accepts up to three VMIP modules and presents each as an independent VXIbus device with its own unique logical address. If you do not have a VM9000, contact us and we can check availability.
