Agilent/Keysight 1147B

The Keysight 1147B is an active AC/DC current probe engineered for non-intrusive, high-fidelity current measurements in dynamic circuit environments. Using Hall effect sensing at DC and low frequencies, then transitioning to current transformer operation at higher frequencies, the probe delivers flat response across DC to 50 MHz with noise below 2.5 mA RMS. Its split-core clamp design enables fast connection without circuit interruption, making it ideal for transient analysis in switching supplies, motor controllers, and inverter circuits.

The 1147B operates at voltage ratings to 300 V and supports peak currents to 30 A (non-continuous) or 15 A continuous/DC. Easy offset calibration and a degaussing switch minimize measurement drift and residual magnetism errors.
