Its 10:1 attenuation factor, 100 kΩ input resistance, and 0.6 pF input capacitance minimize loading on the device under test, preserving signal integrity on densely packed boards where measurement accuracy is critical. The probe accepts ±5 V dc + peak ac signals with a maximum input of ±40 V (dc + peak ac &lt;20 MHz, CAT I) and includes ±20 V variable DC offset capability. Output limiting protects against excessive power dissipation, clamping at ±1.4 V when input plus offset exceeds ±14 V.
