Agilent/Keysight 37204A

The Agilent/Keysight 37204A is an HP-IB (IEEE 488) extender that increases communication distance between HP-IB devices far beyond the standard 2-meter limit. It extends HP-IB interfaces to 1250 meters per link via coaxial cable or 3000 meters per link via fiber optic cable (with optional fiber modules). The unit operates transparently with no program modifications required, enabling flexible system layouts for automated test equipment, data acquisition, and control systems.

Error correction ensures 100% data integrity across extended links. Multi-point configurations support up to 30 remote sites, and coaxial/fiber links may be mixed within the same system.
