This unit
The Fluke 396 is a single-channel universal waveform generator engineered for high-precision signal synthesis across testing, calibration, and research environments. It generates standard waveforms - sine, square, triangle, ramp, haversine, cosine, havercosine, and sin(x)/x - plus arbitrary waveforms, pulse trains, noise, trigger signals, tones, and swept outputs. Direct Digital Synthesis delivers 10-digit frequency resolution for standard waveforms; clock synthesis provides 8-digit resolution for square waves.
The 4 MB word memory accommodates complex arbitrary waveforms and supports sequencing of up to 16 steps with looping capability.
