Agilent/Keysight 54831B

The Agilent/Keysight 54831B is a four-channel digital oscilloscope delivering 600 MHz bandwidth and up to 4 GSa/s sample rate for high-speed signal acquisition and analysis. Built around MegaZoom deep memory technology, it captures complex waveforms with standard 4 Mpts memory expandable to 128 Mpts per channel, maintaining fast waveform update rates and responsive control throughout extended acquisitions. The instrument combines an analog-style front panel with Windows-based GUI for intuitive operation and access to advanced analysis capabilities.

Its time base spans 500 ps/div to 20 s/div on the main sweep, with delayed sweep capability down to 1 ps/div, and horizontal positioning up to ±200 s. Input coupling options include AC, DC, and ground, with selectable 1 MΩ or 50 Ω impedance, maximum input of ±40 V peak CAT I, and 8-bit vertical resolution. The 54831B supports web-enabled remote control, email trigger notifications, and integrates USB connectivity, VGA output, and auxiliary TTL outputs for flexible lab integration.

Operating from 100–240 VAC (47–440 Hz, Cat II), it dissipates 440 W during normal operation.
