This unit

The Acromag 811A-0200 InteliPack Alarm is a microcontroller-based alarm trip module engineered for critical process monitoring and annunciation in industrial control systems. It accepts DC current (0 to 22 mA), DC voltage (±100V), and AC current inputs via optional sensor, delivering dual SPDT relay outputs rated at 25V DC @ 5A or 120/240V AC @ 5A. Configuration occurs through Windows-based software or front-panel push-buttons and LED indicators, enabling independent operation without host supervision after setup.

Technical Specifications

  • Input Ranges: DC current 0–22 mA; DC voltage ±100V; AC current via external 5020-350 sensor

  • Output Relays: Two independent SPDT electro-mechanical relays; AgCdO contacts; 20 million cycle mechanical life; failsafe/non-failsafe configurable

  • Analog Processing: High-resolution Sigma-Delta ADC with low-noise characteristics

  • Power Supply: 10–36V DC; draws 170 mA @ 10V, 140 mA @ 12V, 110 mA @ 15V, or 70 mA @ 24V

  • Processor: Advanced microcontroller with downloadable flash memory and EEPROM

  • Indicators: Green LED (power); yellow LED (status/alarm)

  • Physical: 1.05" W × 4.68" H × 4.35" D (26.7 mm × 118.9 mm × 110.5 mm); self-extinguishing nylon 6.6 enclosure

Key Features

  • Configurable alarm functions: limit, window, on/off control, deviation (dual-input), rate-of-change, peak/peak-valley detection

  • Built-in excitation supply for two-wire transmitter operation

  • Power-up self-diagnostics

  • Independent standalone operation post-configuration

Typical Applications Process temperature, pressure, level, and flow monitoring; equipment protection; industrial annunciation systems.

Compatibility & Integration Configuration requires 800C-SIP Software Interface Package and USB-to-RS232 adapter (5034-225 or 4001-095 for Windows 7+). Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) port enables field reconfiguration. Factory pre-configuration available via "-C" model suffix.
