The Agilent/Keysight 8473B is a low-barrier Schottky diode (LBSD) detector engineered for RF power measurements from 10 MHz to 18 GHz. It delivers precise power sensing and signal source leveling without requiring DC bias, making it ideal for direct oscilloscope interfacing. The LBSD architecture provides superior broadband flatness and SWR performance compared to point-contact alternatives, with low origin resistance and minimal junction capacitance.
