This unit

The Agilent/Keysight 86120B Multi-Wavelength Meter measures wavelength and optical power across the 700–1650 nm spectrum using a Michelson interferometer. It simultaneously characterizes multiple laser lines with absolute accuracy to ±3 ppm, making it ideal for DWDM signal analysis, Fabry-Perot laser evaluation, and optical component testing. The instrument delivers wavelength scan results in less than 1 second and includes a built-in HeNe laser for real-time calibration.

Common Agilent / Keysight 86120B faults: interferometer alignment drift, reference etalon or HeNe laser end-of-life, InGaAs detector sensitivity loss, fiber input connector damage. Fizeau interferometer-based instruments (Agilent 86120B/86122A/C) most commonly develop interferometer alignment drift and InGaAs detector degradation over time. Burleigh WA-series scanning Fabry-Perot instruments most commonly fail due to reference HeNe laser end-of-life. Both types are fully repairable with post-repair wavelength accuracy verification.

Agilent / Keysight 86120B price

This Agilent / Keysight 86120B is listed at $8,071.9. Calibration is available separately from $450. Contact us for volume pricing or if you need multiple units.

Agilent / Keysight 86120B calibration cost

NIST-traceable calibration for the Agilent / Keysight 86120B is $450 (standard — pass/fail certificate and calibration sticker) or $650 (full measured data at every test point, reference standards documented, traceability chain included).
