The Yokogawa AQ1205E is a handheld Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) designed for installation, commissioning, and maintenance of single-mode fiber networks. Operating across three wavelengths - 1310 nm, 1550 nm, and 1625 nm - this compact instrument delivers dynamic range up to 40 dB and 0.75 m event resolution, enabling precise fault location and attenuation measurements on both dark fiber and live PON systems. The 1625 nm port includes a built-in cutoff filter, permitting non-disruptive testing on in-service networks.


Weighing approximately 1 kg with A5-size form factor, the AQ1205E integrates OTDR measurement with optional light source, power meter, fault locator, and fiber inspection capabilities. Field measurements can be logged to internal or USB storage and exported as CSV reports.
