The Yokogawa AQ7286J is a four-wavelength Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) engineered for fiber optic network construction, troubleshooting, and quality control across single-mode installations. Operating at 1310 nm, 1383 nm, 1550 nm, and 1625 nm in a single port, it delivers dynamic range performance of 42 dB (1310 nm), 40 dB (1550 nm), and 39 dB (1383/1625 nm typ.). The instrument achieves event dead zone of 0.6 m and attenuation dead zones ranging from 3.5 m to 4 m depending on wavelength.
Trace acquisition occurs in 30 seconds to 3 minutes, with results stored internally (>1000 waveforms) or exported via USB and SD card. The 8.4-inch color TFT LCD (800 x 600 resolution) features multi-touch capacitive control for intuitive operation. Wavelength tolerance meets IEC 60793-1-40 at ±15 nm standard or ±10 nm optional.
