This unit
The OMEGA CN375-JC is a 1/16 DIN high-limit controller that monitors temperature inputs and de-energizes a normally energized SPDT latching relay when the process variable exceeds a user-selected setpoint. This design provides fail-safe over-temperature protection without programming. Manual reset via front-panel pushbutton restores the output relay. The controller accepts multiple sensor types
J, K, R, and S thermocouples plus 3-wire Pt100 RTD - making it adaptable across diverse thermal monitoring requirements. Digital LED display shows temperature in 1°C or 1°F resolution. Accuracy is ±1.5% FS + 1 digit for thermocouple inputs and ±1% FS + 1 digit for RTD inputs. The fixed deadband spans 1.5 to 2.5% FS, preventing relay chatter near setpoint. Output relay rating is 240 Vac at 2.5 A resistive or 1 A inductive load.
