This unit
The Agilent/Keysight E7922A is a 4-port 10/100 Ethernet routing test card engineered for comprehensive testing and validation of network devices in R&D and manufacturing environments. It generates and analyzes IP packets and Ethernet frames at line rate, supporting realistic testing of switches and routers with 10/100 interfaces. The module interoperates with other RouterTester variants (GbE and 10GbE) to construct scalable, Internet-scale test topologies.
Technical Specifications
Interfaces- 4 × 10/100 Ethernet ports (10BASE-T/100BASE-TX)
- 256 MB data capture RAM per module with line-rate capture capability
- LAN, timing synchronization, trigger I/O, and BNC interfaces Packet Generation and Analysis
- Simultaneous IPv4 and IPv6 packet generation and analysis for dual-stack router testing
- IEEE 802.1Q VLAN tagging support: up to 4095 VLAN IDs and 8 priority levels per port
- MAC layer addressing for layer 2 switch validation across configurable MAC address ranges
- Transmit, receive, and error statistics delivered in real-time tabular and graphical formats at IP, Link, and Physical layers Routing and Network Emulation
- Emulates E-BGP, I-BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, and MPLS-TE routing protocols at line rate
- Large-scale route emulation with flexible attributes for forwarding table stress testing
- Route flap convergence measurement and data loss quantification during topology changes Capture and Analysis
- Triggered data capture (manual, event-based, pattern-match, threshold, or error-condition driven)
- Protocol decoding: BGP-4, OSPF, IS-IS, and full Ethernet frame decode
- Per-port, per-stream, and per-VLAN-ID statistics for transmitted and received traffic
- Latency and packet loss measurement via synchronized packet timestamping
Typical Applications Route convergence testing, switch fabric validation, forwarding table capacity benchmarking, dual-stack IPv4/IPv6 interoperability validation, and VLAN configuration verification.
Compatibility & Integration Interoperates with RouterTester GbE and 10GbE modules to build modular, multi-port test systems.
Agilent / Keysight E7922A — Repair & Calibration Service
Aumictech offers NIST-traceable calibration and repair for the Agilent / Keysight E7922A. Calibration covers analog input channel accuracy and offset at all gain settings, analog output accuracy, digital I/O logic threshold verification, sample rate and timing accuracy, and trigger and synchronization bus functional verification. NI CompactRIO and PXI chassis also undergo backplane trigger line integrity check.. All calibrations ship with a NIST-traceable certificate. Turnaround is typically 1–3 business days after receipt.
Common Agilent / Keysight E7922A faults: power supply failure (cRIO-9073/9074), C-series slot connector wear, PXI chassis fan failure, GPIB interface failure on VXI controllers, BIOS/EEPROM corruption. NI CompactRIO most common faults are power supply failure on older cRIO-9073/9074 chassis and C-series module slot connector wear from repeated hot-swap cycles. PXI chassis fan failure is the most common wear item — chassis fans are field-replaceable. VXI embedded controllers most commonly develop EEPROM corruption and GPIB interface failure.
Agilent / Keysight E7922A price
This Agilent / Keysight E7922A is listed at $1,050. Calibration is available separately from $450. Contact us for volume pricing or if you need multiple units.
Agilent / Keysight E7922A calibration cost
NIST-traceable calibration for the Agilent / Keysight E7922A is $450 (standard — pass/fail certificate and calibration sticker) or $650 (full measured data at every test point, reference standards documented, traceability chain included). Calibration for this instrument covers analog input channel accuracy and offset at all gain settings, analog output accuracy, digital I/O logic threshold verification, sample rate and timing accuracy, and trigger and synchronization bus functional verification. NI CompactRIO and PXI chassis also undergo backplane trigger line integrity check.. Turnaround is 1 to 3 business days after receipt. See full calibration details →
