The Keysight EXR054A is a 500 MHz real-time oscilloscope from the Infiniium EXR-Series, purpose-built for signal analysis in research, development, and manufacturing. It delivers 16 GSa/s sample rate across 4 analog channels with 10-bit ADC resolution and memory depths to 400 Mpts/channel. The instrument captures complex signal traces with 860 ps rise time and noise as low as 43 µV, supported by a 15.6-inch capacitive touch display and over 50 standard measurements. The EXR054A supports bandwidth and channel upgrades to 2.5 GHz or 6 GHz with up to 8 analog channels. Optional integrated instruments transform the unit into a 7-in-1 platform: logic analyzer (16 digital channels), protocol analyzer, digital voltmeter, counter, Bode plotter, and waveform generator. ADC resolution upgrades to 16-bit in high-resolution mode, achieving up to 9.0 bits ENOB with hardware filtering. Input impedance selectable between 50 Ω and 1 MΩ accommodates diverse measurement scenarios. The Windows 10 operating system runs setup wizards for triggers, decodes, and eye diagrams, plus Fault Hunter for automated pass/fail evaluation against user-defined criteria.
