It delivers low splice loss through automated core-to-core alignment, image processing, and controlled arc discharge - achieving typical losses below 0.1 dB for fused joints. The splicer uses a Profile Alignment System (PAS) with full automatic rotational alignment via dual cameras and V-grooves for deterministic fiber positioning. An internal microprocessor manages gap setting, alignment, and splicing sequences without manual intervention.
