This unit

The Fujikura FSM-70R is a core alignment fusion splicer engineered for precision splicing of single optical fibers in field and laboratory environments. Active core alignment technology delivers real-time splice loss estimation, while dual 400x magnification cameras enable accurate fiber positioning. Automated splicing and heater cycles complete SM fiber splices in approximately 7 seconds in FAST mode. The unit stores up to 10,000 splice records, performs up to 200 splices per battery charge, and operates across altitudes to 5,000 m and temperatures from −10°C to +50°C.
