This unit

The Fujikura FSM-62S+ is a core alignment fusion splicer for single-mode and multimode fiber optic splicing in field and installation environments. It delivers 0.02 dB average splice loss on SMF, completes splices in approximately 9 seconds, and protects joints with heat-shrink sleeves in 25 seconds. The splicer features 35× magnification on a 3.5-inch color LCD display, IP52 dust and water resistance, and withstands 76 cm drops onto concrete. Lithium-ion battery supports roughly 200 splice and heat cycles per charge. Data logging to internal memory (100 splices) or USB export enables documentation and analysis of every joint.
